Operation Northwoods
Operation Northwoods is a declassified proposal, formerly classified TopSecret top secret by the UnitedStates United States in 1962 to commit a series of FalseFlag False Flag attacks and blame them on Cuba. The goal was to start a war with Cuba, by fooling the American public in to thinking that Cuba had attacked them.

The desired resultant from the execution of this plan would be to place the United States in the apparent position of suffering defensible grievances from a rash and irresponsible government of Cuba and to develop an international image of a Cuban threat to peace in the Western Hemisphere.
