Large Frame Postures (大架式拳) — Seven Star Mantis
On this page
大架式拳 (Dà Jiàshì Quán, "Large-Frame Postures") is a 42-posture empty-hand form of Seven Star Praying Mantis, published by Wong Hon Fan (黃漢勛) in 1947, Luo Guangyu line. The "large frame" (大架) is the expansive-stance training set — long, extended postures that build reach, rooting, and structure — and is the open-frame half of a pair with the compact 小架式拳 (Small-Frame Postures).
